Scholarship Program
The Gilbert Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Program is proud to be present this unique scholarship program in partnership between the Chamber, Gilbert Public Schools, and Higley Unified School District.

This program is targeted at the middle 50 percent of students in an effort to encourage students to complete challenging courses during high school that will prepare them for careers and higher education after graduation. As students work through these courses, it is anticipated that there will be an improved GPA from year to year.

We have been raising scholarship money through our annual golf tournament since 2009 and we look forward to providing additional dollars in the future. If you are interested in assisting in this effort please contact the Chamber at 480-892-0056. If you are a student interested in applying for this scholarship please follow the instructions below; your high school counselor can provide assistance as well.

The ideal candidate will have a GPA at graduation ending between 2.5 to 3.5.

One recipient from each high school will be selected. The targeted scholarship amount is $720. Final amount will be determined by the results of the Chamber’s Scholars Golf Tournament to be held on May 14, 2012.

Applicants will be notified of decisions by mail in April 2012. Materials such as essays, transcripts, and letters of recommendation cannot be returned. Every applicant is judged by the committee in relation to the funds available and to the other candidates applying for the same scholarship. Committee members review all applications with great care and are scrupulously fair in their evaluation and recommendations. Committee decisions are final.
