Event to Feature Guest Speaker Terri Bowersock, Founder of Terri’s Consign and Design

GILBERT – Gilbert Chamber of Commerce will recognize nominees for outstanding women in business at the second annual Business Woman of the Year Luncheon on Tuesday, an event sponsored by San Tan Learning Center.

The luncheon will feature guest speaker Terri Bowersock, founder of Terri’s Consign and Design, and will name one woman as the 2012 Business Woman of the Year in recognition for her dedication to her business and her community.

“We are so pleased to be honoring a great selection of women in our community,” said Paige Modlin, Chairwoman of the Gilbert Chamber’s What Women Want…In Business event committee. “The [What Women Want…In Business] committee had a real challenge choosing only one recipient. The nominations were extremely competitive and I look forward to honoring all of them at the luncheon.”

Last year’s award recipient was Gayle Schmidt, owner of Buffalo Wild Wings in Gilbert.

The 2012 Business Women of the Year Luncheon will be held on Tuesday, January 24th from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Elegante Conference Center, 1800 S. SanTan Village Parkway, in Gilbert. General admission is $35, Chamber member admission is $20 with early registration or $25 at the door.
