Present by the Gilbert Chambers What Women Want…In Business Event Committee

GILBERT – The Gilbert Chamber of Commerce will host a luncheon featuring the non-profit Fresh Start Women’s Foundation as guest speakers present the organization’s mission and past participants share their struggles and successes on October 26th.

Sponsored by Bravo & Associates, event speakers will include Maria Hesse, Ph.D, a member of the organization’s board of directors, and Joan Krueger, past town councilwoman for the Town of Gilbert and member of the East Valley Fresh Start Executive Council.

“Fresh Start has been empowering women for almost ten years at its central Phoenix location, and a group of dedicated and determined women are working to expand services into the East Valley,” said Krueger. “Fresh Start Women’s Foundation helps women in transition and is based on three core values—economic self-sufficiency, self-esteem enhancement and lifelong learning. These three values, woven together, enhance a woman’s ability to lead a strong, independent, and balanced life.”

The luncheon will be held on Tuesday, October 26th from 11:15 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Brunswick Zone XL, 1160 S. Gilbert Road, in Gilbert. General admission is $35; Chamber member admission is $20. Gently-used, professional clothing will be collected to benefit Fresh Start Women’s Foundation.
