Mercy Gilbert Medical Center opened in June 2006. At present, Mercy Gilbert Medical Center has 206 private rooms with guest accommodations, with the capacity to expand to 400 beds over the next five years.

For over 100 years the Sisters of Mercy have provided caring healthcare to Arizona communities with a proven commitment to the healing and wellness of body, mind and spirit. In keeping with this fine tradition, they now lend their dedication and compassion to Mercy Gilbert Medical Center, which honors them with its name. Mercy Gilbert Medical Center is a four story, full-service, acute-care hospital spanning 60 acres. An additional 40 acres housing a medical office building, research and lab facilities will complete the campus. With 42 hospitals in Arizona, California and Nevada, CHW is one of the largest healthcare systems in the West.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
1. BS in Medical Technology or equivalent
2. At least four years of experience under a qualified Laboratory Director
3. Ability to organize and coordinate diverse activities
4. Demonstrated supervisory/leadership ability
5. Familiarity with state and federal regulations where applicable
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION
1. MT (ASCP) or equivalent
