Calling All Businesses – Get Involved in Shop Gilbert Campaign

Our Shop Gilbert campaign is a partnership between the Chamber of Commerce, Town of Gilbert, and the Arizona Republic.  We are calling all businesses to sign up to be part of this campaign. 

Here is how you can get involved.  It is so easy– just pick up your Shop Gilbert display at any one of our offices, register to receive a monthly email for updated Shop Gilbert information, and display your decal and counter-top display at your business.  Oh, and one more thing, don’t forget to thank your customers for supporting your business and the community!

Each month, we will email the link to the latest flier in a PDF format that you can print out and place in your counter-top display.  The flier will thank your customers for their business and outline the “service of the month” we are highlighting in all of our campaign materials.  This “service of the month” tells your customers how their sales tax dollars are being used to make Gilbert a great community to live in.  You can use these fliers as a shopping bag stuffer as well if you’d like.

Your participation is a great way to tell your customers you care about the community, are thankful for their business, and that you support the success of local businesses.  There is no cost to you other than printing out copies of the fliers each month for your business.

Please complete the registration form and drop it off at the Gilbert Chamber of Commerce, Town of Gilbert or the Arizona Republic to pick up a packet.

As you may know, The Gilbert Republic has been working with the Chamber and the Town of Gilbert to promote the Shop Gilbert campaign. As part of our participation, we are providing Shop Gilbert coverage every day of our publication cycle (Wednesday through Saturday) and 24/7 at our community website, gilbert.azcentral.com. Our coverage includes profiles of Gilbert businesses and that's where you come in.

Please take a few minutes to fill out the attached questionnaire and send it to me along with a picture of you and/or your co-owners or top managers. I'll schedule it for publication as soon as I receive it. A couple of requests: Please fully identify everyone in the photo, and please limit the number of people in the photo to three or four (no more). Readers tend to gravitate to photos with fewer people. And please answer all the questions in the attachment!
