GILBERT LEADERSHIP CLASS XV PLANS REMEMBRANCE
GARDEN AT NEW DISCOVERY PARK
There will soon be a peaceful place for quiet contemplation and reflection in the Town of Gilbert once Gilbert Leadership Class XV finishes its planned Hope Garden at Discovery Park project in April.
Hope Garden at Discovery Park will be dedicated to remembering those friends, family members and loved ones we have lost. The garden, part of the soon-to-open Discovery Park at Pecos Road and the Santan Parkway, will include a butterfly garden area with two benches, mosaic stepping stones and a memorial plaque with mosaics. The garden will also feature plants that attract butterflies.
Gilbert Leadership Class XV is accepting donations from the community and corporations for materials to help create the Hope Garden. Checks can be made out to Gilbert Chamber of Commerce with a notation for Gilbert Leadership. They can be delivered or mailed to the Chamber on 119 North Gilbert Rd., Suite 101, or sent to the Gilbert Chamber at P.O. Box 527, Gilbert, AZ 85299-0527.
Community members are welcome to come watch the group complete the garden on April 28.
Hope Garden at Discovery Park is a project of Gilbert Leadership Class XV.
