Committees

Each year the Chamber’s Board of Directors set priorities for the new year. The Chairman of the Board then selects a team of committee chairs to accomplish the tasks set forth in the priorities. Help the Chamber meet its goals while having a great time working side-by-side with some great members and business peers.

Ambassadors
If you want to be involved in meeting new members and planning networking events, then this is the committee for you. The Ambassadors represent the Chamber at ribbon cuttings and welcoming new members. The 9:00 am Morning Mixer has been very popular with our membership. Join efforts to find new and innovative ways to promote our members. They also plan the powerful Gilbert NOW! Luncheons and energetic evening mixers. They will organize a membership drive and personally deliver our Business Directories this year as well.

Leads Club

The Chamber Leads Club is formed by local business owners and employees, with no more than one member from any given industry. The goal of the group is to help generate business leads for others within your group.

The system is ideal for small businesses working to establish themselves and for businesses looking to expand and generate new contacts.  Businesses are always in need of collaboration and support services.  Leads Club help identify fellow Gilbert Chamber of Commerce members that might be interested in working together.

The Leads Club will meet every Tuesday morning from 7:30am – 8:30am at a location to be determined.

To succeed in The Leads Club, you must be a positive and supportive member of The Leads Club and a member in good standing at the Business Level or above with the Gilbert Chamber of Commerce.  There is no cost to be in The Leads Club, it’s included in your Business Level membership!

Public Policy

Identifying business issues and representing businesses with local government is the primary focus of this committee. This committee is for the true public policy junkie as well as those who are a novice in the process – with the fast rate of growth in our community; we are certainly never bored. Any legislation that impacts the business community is reviewed by this committee and they take an active role in ensuring the pro-business interest is represented. The Public Policy committee evaluates ballot issues and candidates and recommends endorsements to the Board. They also instituted a new Good Government breakfast series placing business leaders in a roundtable discussion with elected officials.
