East Valley Chamber of Commerce Alliance
The Gilbert Chamber of Commerce actively participates in the Alliance, a coalition of eight East Valley Chambers, to address legislative issues at the Capitol.

Candidate Endorsement
Through candidate forums, member surveys, and candidate questionnaires, the Chamber’s public policy committee recommends endorsement of pro-business candidates.

Good Government Breakfast Series 
Sponsored by SRP, this series brings elected officials together with members of the Chamber to discuss business issues in an informal roundtable dialogue format.

Shop Gilbert Campaign
In partnership with the Town of Gilbert, the Gilbert Republic, this campaign raises community awareness regarding the importance of shopping locally to keep tax dollars in Gilbert.

Recent Successes
The Gilbert Chamber of Commerce, with support from its members, has been instrumental in positively changing regulations and policies impacting businesses including the increased sign allowance by 50%, the extended length of time and increased size for display of temporary banners, the ability to use A-frame signs, the designation of areas for vertical development within Gilbert, passing of the sign-walker ordinance, relief from new taxes and increased fees, passing of bonds for infrastructure, and a streamlined permitting process for businesses.
