Gilbert Chamber and EVCCA Weigh In On Important Healthcare Bill In US Senate

The EVCCA sent letters to Senators Flake and McCain urging proper vetting of the Better Care Reconciliation Act (BRCA) which changes the current Affordable Care Act. Changes to ACA are desperately needed, however, those presented in the current version of the BCRA will have inadvertent negative impacts on Arizona.

Two major areas were addressed in the letter - accessibility, affordability, and efficiency of insurance coverage for all businesses - solo entrepreneurs, small, medium and large; and Arizona is not positioned to bear the more than $7.1 billion of costs over the next eight years to the Arizona General Fund if cuts to the Medicare program were to occur.
